Battle of the Bands 2011

24 Bands! - 4 Heats - 1 Final - 1 winner!!


After the enormous success of Battle of the bands 2010, we are pleased to launch Battle of the bands 2011.

Each heat will have six performers playing a twenty minute set each.  The running order at each heat will be chosen by picking the band's names out of a hat.

The audience will cast one vote each at the end of the night and the two bands with the most votes will automatically go through to the grand final.

The winning band will receive

  • Two 10 hour days in a state of the art recording studio
  • A dedicated experienced sound engineer
  • Copies of all the masters
  • 1,000 professional cd's of your album cut for you to keep
  • Unique original artwork to your approval for the cd cover
  • Air play of your new cd on the local radio and BBC Kent
  • Newspaper coverage
  • A headlining gig for Bluesky PIE at one of our summer gigs

The Battle of the Bands will be held over four different heats held at The Lanterns, Rendezvous Street, Folkestone.
